Welcome to the Onyx Incubator, a nonprofit educational collective that focuses on serving at-risk youth, including adjudicated youth and those currently detained in detention centers. We are proud to offer internship opportunities that give young people a chance to learn about nonprofit organizations and make a positive impact in the community. Our free program engages youth beyond traditional academics by providing design workshops and mentorship that fosters their creative and social skills. As an intern with the Onyx Incubator, you will have the opportunity to work with our team and help us change the world of education for at-risk youth in Chicago. Our internship program is mostly remote, but we do prioritize in-person opportunities to build rapport and connections with our team. You will have the chance to learn about the inner workings of a nonprofit organization, including fundraising, program management, and community outreach. You will also have the chance to work on meaningful projects that directly impact the lives of young people in Chicago.
